I visited this establishment with some potential clients the other day and was taken back by the service we had. I must say the food was great, but what sets this venue apart from others, is quality of customer service we were provided with. The Manager himself made his way to our table and ensured we were happy with our orders, which we were. My clients who were from the States were happy and we also got a deal done. We get dinner here during visitation weekends. They have crayons for the kids and bottomless soup for adults. Also the kids coke is refilled free of charge. Quarter chicken will do so we get out as fast as possible

Wow! What an amazing place! I felt like a queen! We were so pampered! I felt like I was back in time when service was service! The waiters were so attentive and helpful; the food was to die for! I had the 20 rib eye which also gave me two more meals at home. Can't wait to go back!

I try to go to The Longest Yard once every week., and I have been since shortly after it opened. The staff and management are friendly and welcoming and the food is decently priced for the portion/quality you get.
It's a 5 minute walk from Islington subway station so if you're planning on drinking, it definitely saves money on cab fare. If you drive, there's quite a bit of parking on Bloor and on Eagle (side street).
They have one of the best burgers I've ever eaten, and the beef is organic. They have other options as well, though the menu isn't fully organic. Every day, they have specials for dinner. Fish and Chips tend to be a special on Friday and Sunday night, and it's really good.
The added bonus for me is that I'm a Baseball fan and The Longest Yard is the only place I go to where even if there's playoff Hockey and Basketball on, at least one TV will have Baseball and I won't be told "Sorry, nobody wants to watch Baseball."
It caters to the family as well as the Sports fans. I was there for the Superbowl and for the Olympic Gold Hockey match. It's not the type of place where people go to get completely drunk, loud, and obnoxious though people are drinking. They also have contests during big events where you can win prizes and even cash!
