Friendship Corner Daycare (Montessori), a non-profit society, opened in January 2008 in Coquitlam, BC. It is a Licensed Group Daycare for children from 30 months to school age. We are a full service daycare and early learning centre meeting the needs of 75 children, ages 6 mos to 12 years. We offer programs for all of these age groups in one building. Our building is brand new, designed specifically for children with floor to ceiling windows to capture the natural light, air conditioning for comfort during the summer and brightly coloured walls to stimulate the imagination. Our experienced staff utilize emergent curriculum to engage children. Emergent curriculum encourages children to contribute their ideas with educators using these ideas as a framework for curriculum development. Finally, parents appreciate our online webcam monitoring that allows parents to view their children from work or at home.
