After owning and operating Savorie Restaurant in Forest Hill for 11 years, Paul purchased Domani Restaurant and immediately fell in love with both the restaurant and the neighbourhood. Slowly and respectfully enhancing the 17 year Roncy favourite has proven to be an excellent approach as passionate diners continue to embrace this gem. Paul integrates his love and knowledge of wine into the wine selection, creating a perfect balance with every meal. Paul has proven that his passion for the industry and his determination to bring fine Italian service to every table is evident on every visit to the restaurant. Great food. Great Wine. Great Service.
I had heard terrific things about Domani, a restaurant run by a former pro footballer from Afghanistan who has worked at some of Toronto's top restaurants, and had to come down to High Park and see for myself. The service was very courteous, prompt, and personal. At no point did we even have to ask for anything because it was already taken care of. The food was exquisite, well-presented and skilfully prepared. The portions were large but despite being quite full it was too delicious to leave any behind. The desserts were absolutely amazing, though next time I would do without the espresso. Though Domani requires a bit of a journey, I have not eaten anywhere in Toronto where gourmet food of this quality is available at such a reasonable price and accompanied by such excellent service. At Pizzeria Defina, there are many items we offer which many traditional pizzerias do not: such as butternut squash or duck confit. Sure, these are not traditional toppings but we are not a traditional pizzeria: We love to be creative and welcoming to modifications. Ask your server and we will see what we can do.If you have been seeking a warm and friendly, neighbourhood experience, come on in! Sit down with the kids and watch the pizza dough spin in the air. Grab a drink, try a wood fired Napoletana or Roma style pizza crust and then... relax.

Specializing in Italian cuisine for over 14 years, this family restaurant has become a favorite for many locals, tourists, as well as some of the players from the Toronto Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, and Raptors. Whether you come to create your own pizzas and pastas, savor the chef's daily specials, or enjoy a cocktail on the patio with the best view in the city, the food is deliciously simple and the atmosphere always lively. The large menu has something for everyone, while the staff keeps the patrons laughing and coming back for more. The decor is casual and comfortable, including during the summer months, where the Eden patio is an invitation to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or an ice cold beer. The wine menu is changed every 4 months and offers a wide selection of consignment wines by the glass and bottle.

This place is overpriced for what you get. My friend and I shared a light dinner, a glass of wine each and tea, and our bill (with tip and tax) came to $100. I ordered the gnocci in tomato sauce, which was very good, and the bread was tasty. But for a meatless meal with no dessert and no appetizer, the prices are too high. It seems like you're paying for atmosphere. The service was pretty good, but at the end when it got busier we had to signal for service. I think there's better value out there for the money. Seemed like a lot of people there could "expense" their dinners, which explains the crowd. Read more

Italian and Mediterranean eats get new lease at this Mississauga charmer. Chefs Raj and Sam - both with intensive training in Paris and Switzerland - bring a decidedly international flavour to Clarkson's menu with culinary influences from Italy, France and Greece. Whether it’s pastas, seafood, chicken, veal or lamb, the mains here are consistent winners. Special mentions go to the Chilean sea bass, French-cut veal chop, lobster spaghetti and stuffed chicken supreme. Portions are generous and presentation is dependably appealing. An extensive wine selection rounds out the experience.
