Jodie Voth, MMFTJodie has a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a B.A. in Psychology and Women's Studies. She has been a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) for several years.Jodie's involvement in the field of counselling and therapy began at Klinic Community Health Centre in Winnipeg, MB where Jodie worked within the Sexual Assault Crisis Program for a number of years. As a part of her training as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Jodie completed an Internship at Aurora Family Therapy Centre in Winnipeg.Jodie has experience working with many clients from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of concerns. She particularly enjoys working with couples and teens, although adult individuals and families make up a large part of her practice as well. Jodie's approach emphasizes the importance of the connection between client and therapist and the value of the client's position as expert on their own life. Jodie understands that every client is unique and the way that she works reflects this belief

Generations have come to play, meet and celebrate to make DLCC the heart of St. James recreation and community!DLCC is located near the corner of Linwood Street and Bruce Avenue in St James. The Centre has hosted various sports teams over the years, including Hockey, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball and Softball. We have also offered, through co-operation with the different community groups, Brownies, Sparks, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Yog,a Aerobics and Karate.Groups within the community club include the Parent-Child Centred Coalition and the Seniors Group. They are always accepting new members. There's also a church that meets on Sundays and most weekends wedding socials are happening. It's a busy club.We have 2 outdoor rinks and, for those days when you want a great view of the ice, you can watch a hockey game from our mezzanine level.For more information the groups and activities.
