Built in 2001, the Bell Performing Arts Centre is owned and operated by the Surrey School District No. 36. This state of the art facility is the largest professional theatre in the Fraser Valley. With excellent sightlines, amazing acoustics and ample free parking, the Bell Performing Arts Centre is the perfect venue for dance, theatre, concerts and events of all types.

Sun Hang Do was founded in 1989 by Grand Master Jin Kang, a man with a vision to create the ultimate martial art. He believes that martial arts education is the key to laying a solid foundation for our future. He believes that in today's society we are bombarded with many outside pressures and negative influences and are faced with many decisions that could have negative results if we do not have the right mindset. Sun Hang Do teaches that self confidence and a positive mental attitude are essential for one to grow and be successful in the 21st century. It's ultimate goal is to improve one's mental and physical abilities equally. Grand Master Kang has created Sun Hang Do to benefit all who practice it and to help make their lives a positive experience. Through his commitment to the continuous development of Sun Hang Do, Grandmaster ensures that this marital art will have continuous growth. His quest to create the complete martial art for humanity has been realized and continues to develop towards the future.

Sun Hang Do's techniques are a combination of both HARD and SOFT movements. All patterns, weapons and self defense are practiced with a focus on these two opposites, working together in harmony. Sun Hang Do teaches a positive I can do it! mental attitude. Students will increase energy and develop better mental control. This will improve relaxation and develop leadership skills to help focus on the tasks of today's busy lifestyle. Sun Hang Do training improves physical well-being through proper exercise, with a focus on breathing and food control. By following our proper stretching curriculum, students will be able to rehabilitate their physical problems. Sun Hang Do's purpose is to allow the mind and body to become one with each other. When a person can achieve this harmony, they will lead a healthy and successful life!

Established in 1985 and in operation for over 23 years, the Seymour Art Gallery is a public, non profit society that has a reputation for artistic excellence in its' gallery, educational and community programming. The gallery is a leader in community life in the Seymour/Deep Cove area and has established a strong foundation of communication support.
