Curbside Cycle began - not surprisingly ? by the side of the curb, about twenty years ago. Back then we were just a slightly legal tent, a variety of ever-changing locations, and a pretty clear idea about what was missing in the market. Our focus, from the beginning on, was the neglected city cyclist. At the time we were one of many ragtag operations across North America turning old road bikes into flat bar bikes, a trend the bicycle industry later turned into a bike called the hybrid. Around the same time the hybrid was developed we finally acquired storefront in the much desired Annex neighbourhood of Toronto. Sure, we moved a couple feet away from the curb, but we always remained Curbside, a store dedicated to that strip of road beside the curb that the city cyclist occupies.

The store hours are very convenient since I have been retired for ten years. Overhead signs on the aisles are often meaningless. I was looking for a jar of honey and the correct aisles is SPREDS. I have to walk with a cane but when I push the cart that works very well. How you assign shelf space has not changed. Almost an entire length of an aisle shows unhealthy cereals! You stock only KASHI 2 different boxes. Potato CHIPS get a lot of shelf space - none are healthy ..... Read more

The seafood arm of this swanky downtown resto is marked by a strong devotion to sustainability and seasonal fixings. An innovative menu of hot and cold dishes - all of them immediately emblematic of The Chase's powerful desire to let the natural taste of the ocean-derived main player get top billing - is what's most remarkable about this luxe spot. The place, all bright lights and handsome furnishings, looks great. Throw in thoughtfully prepared seafood dishes and a high-end selection of vino with which to wash it down and you can call your pursuit of an excellent meal fulfilled at The Chase Fish & Oyster.

Came on the basis of great reviews so expectations very high. My gf had a huge fish plate that she thoroughly enjoyed. I had a burger that was exceptionally satisfying. We shared a salad that was sublime. Every patron in the lunch seemed to be sharing our experience which included enjoying the waitresses body and looks. Decor far from eloquent or even upscale but all else including waitress makes up for the modest setting. Read more
