We ate at Rosie's on Robson while on vacation in Vancouver. We stayed at the Westin a few blocks up the street the location seemed convenient. Rosie's markets itself as a British pub style eatery with a good selection of draught beer. When we got seated at our table, the temperature was very warm. The staff claimed the air conditioning at the maximum level but we found that hard to believe. The decor also appeared to be quite outdated. When our food arrived, the veggie burger was found to be slightly under-cooked. The spring rolls were very good but the portion size was small (2 rolls cut into halves). My bruschetta was very good and the portion was decently sized.
Although the restaurant was not terrible, I would not recommend it due to the quality of the food and the atmosphere.

All the good reviews that I have read about this property are true. The friendliness of the staff seems genuine. I have never seen such good customer service.

Great place for drinks and small bites to absorb the alcohol. I love their sandwich board with clever remarks to draw in customers. I am a repeat customer. It can get really busy here.

This location had very quick and efficient service. Got my order right, gave lots of napkins and everything was done up very well. One of the best locations I have ever gone to. Very clean too! A+!

I absolutely love this place. The food is quite good, the portion sizes are generous, the prices are right, and the service is always friendly.
Speaking of portion sizes, I love their appetizers. They have some small appetizers which are priced relatively low which is wonderful. I don't want to spend 75% the cost of a meal for an appetizer so large that I'm not hungry for dinner any longer. Wish more places would offer appetizer portions like Amarosa.
There is a wide selection available so you'd be hard pressed to find something you don't like.
