So I had signed up for credit counselling (government OPD program) and was paying $1200 per month for 4 years. It seemed like a good idea at the time but I never really understood what it was costing me and assumed the program was the best solution for me. I can see how it may help someone with a very simple and basic problem.
Anyway, Randy from Parley was able to get my payments down to $240 per month for 5 years and I got to keep my house. Do the math, even after paying the credit counselling for 10 months, I still saved over $25000 to go with Randy. And his fee was almost half.
