Careers Tipping CanoeTipping Canoe was founded in 2006 to help consumers in the UK battle the barrage of advertisements and poor customer service they received every day. Since then we've expanded our reach to foster communities in several territories. Our network of web properties now spans multiple countries and receives over 300 million world-wide visits each year.As our applications and communities have grown, so has our team. The Tipping Canoe staff include programmers, designers, copy editors and content moderators both in Winnipeg and around the world. In the past few years, the web has shifted to mobile devices and we've expanded the boat to include developers for Android and iOS as well.Unlike many web companies, Tipping Canoe is not a fee for service company. The applications we develop are built organically and are self sustaining. This allows us to experiment with new ideas without the 'make the logo bigger' demands of a client driven office.Need a website built for your company?
Your mortgage is one of the largest financial liabilities that you have in your life. It is incredibly important that you have the best one. We see people who have made their mortgage selection based on rate alone, and do not know there are other factors that should influence their decision.
We use our access to hundreds of lenders across Canada to select the mortgage that has the lowest cost of borrowing for you. It is our commitment to educate you as to why rate is only one of the things to consider when shopping for a mortgage.
We are committed to showing you that there is more to your mortgage than just the rate!

Levy's Leathers - Guitar Straps, Gig Bags, Other Instrument StrapsLevy's is a leading manufacturer of consumer leather and nylon goods with manufacturing facilities in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Antigonish, Nova Scotia. The company was founded in 1973 by Dennis Levy and is run by Dennis and his brother Harvey.Levy's sells guitar straps, instrument bags, gun slings, gun cases, cartridge belts, knife sheathes and belts.
The company dates back to 1922 when two Englishmen, George Bond and Ronald Samuel started a confectionery manufacturing company in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada called Bond and Ronald. The company manufactured sugar confectionery items and some chocolate specialties. For many years, the firm remained small and localized to the Manitoba market. Fruit slices were originally made from imported Agar seaweed strips which were cut, soaked overnight and then used to produce jelly in eighty pound batches. The jelly was cooked in an open gas-fired cooker and allowed to cool at ambient room temperature. The manufacturing process was slow and very labour-intensive. However, as Agar was and still remains one of the very best natural gelling agents to bring out true fruit flavour in jelly, our fruit slices always proved to be a popular item in the company's product line.
