Celebrating diversity and cultural understanding fuel our creative passions at MoonDance. Through our local community, as well as in Africa and around the World, MoonDance offers respectful, culturally-sensitive classes and workshops.

The View Gallery is a contemporary art gallery on the Nanaimo campus of Vancouver Island University, which presents all types of visual arts and designs made by students, community-members, and professional artists. A non-commercial site, the gallery presents a mixture of programming and art events that range from touring exhibitions to annual showcases of student art. The View Gallery is run and staffed by faculty members and students in the Department of Art and Design, within the Faculty of Art and Humanities.

VIU, a unique university located on Vancouver Island, off the West Coast of Canada, overlooks the Strait of Georgia and the Coastal Mountains. The Nanaimo campus is home to the Art and Design Department, a personal and inclusive learning environment featuring small class-sizes with teaching faculty readily available to assist students.
