We all like a good deal and even better, a few good deals. At Buy & Sell Kings, deals can be found on everything from a new tablet to a bike or a piece of gold jewellery. “It’s not your average hole-in-the-wall consignment store,” says co-owner Brandon Ferreira. “We’re laid out over 5,500 square feet in a very organized manner — section-by-section, on two storeys with plenty of space to browse.” Brandon has been running the store with partner Daryl Rak since the late 1990s. “I’ve been a wheeler and dealer all of my life. If you're looking for fine dining with great service and a relaxing atmosphere in Toronto, you'll need to look up to the sky and search for Canoe. Food: The menu is simple yet it's high quality and well prepared dishes with great wine and drinks pairing. We decided to go with an app, an entree, and dessert - although the dishes didn't surprise us, they still met our expectations of high quality. The real treats were the Oyster Boy's Finest and Pan Seared Quebec Foie Gras, each being a great start to our meal. Although it was great, it didn't end with a bang. The meal kept its pace right through to dessert. Service: The wait staff were very attentive and accomodating. Our server was attentive to our needs, and was engaged without being too involved in our dining experience. I was impressed by the service from everyone this evening! Atmosphere: I would definitely recommend trying to reserve a table by the window. The place is beautiful with the simple and modern decor, though the view of the city is an added bonus to your meal. It's definitely worth the visit if you're looking to dine in the sky with a great meal, but be prepared to empty out your wallet, because this place isn't cheap. Read more
