The Individual Agreement that transfers the land management authority from the Government of Canada to Squiala First Nation is waiting for a signature from the Minister. Once the minister signs the the agreement Squiala can begin managing its own lands and resources. Construction of the Evans Interchange/Connector Project is expected to start in August 2008.
