Our excavator systems use water and vacuum technology to quickly and cleanly blast through dirt and rocks to expose pipeline, utility and electrical systems or to open the ground for future work. Digging trenches using general excavation techniques also poses potential safety hazards when excavating around buried gas lines and hydro utilities. The Badger Hydro-vac provides a safe and non-destructive alternative to conventional backhoes or other mechanical means.

B & T Excavating Ltd. has been in business for over 37 years within the Alberta area. All our backhoes are equipped with hydraulic breaker/tampers, asphalt cutting wheels and extend-a-hoes with a maximum digging depth of twenty-two feet. We also have a wide range in bucket sizes from twelve to forty eight inches and frost buckets. All our operators are fully experienced in water and sewer trenching both new and renewal of old services, and main lines, installation of telephone and power duct lines, gas main lines and subdivision trenching, excavating of grade beams, concrete jack hammering and removal, plus most other trenching and demolition work. They are also experienced in parking lot snow removal in the winter season. We have also completed our Alberta Construction Safety Association Certificate of Recognition safety program. All of our operators have completed their Level I & II Ground Disturbance, CSTS and ACSA Safe Trenching and Excavating courses.
