As well it touches Somerville, Galway, Snowdon, and Lutterworth townships. The name Kinmount originates from Kinmount, Scotland, located near the fringe of the Scotland/England border. Kinmount, Scotland was home to the notorious border fighter Kinmount Willie.
Youth Unlimited / Kawartha YFC is a registered non-profit, non-denominational, international, Christian youth organization and Chartered member of Youth for Christ Canada. In 2008 we celebrated our 30th year of service in the Kawarthas.Youth Unlimited Kawartha currently serves youth and families in the Haliburton Highlands Lakefield, Lindsay, North Kawartha, Peterborough and the with our head office located in downtown Peterborough, 1.5 hours north east of Toronto. Youth Unlimited Kawartha has a large number of staff and volunteers reaching out to hundreds of youth to see them attain their full life potential as God designed it.
