I loved this location of Starbuck's. I am very sad that they moved their location. I used to come to this one all the time it was so close to my house. All the baristas were extremely friendly, nice, patient.

On my first visit, I went with a table of four at breakfast time, the place was busy and food was excellent.
The service was excellent. I would go back again. The hostess greater us at the door, we were escorted to the table and the chairs were pulled out for all the women.
Prices are great, I thought that the freshly made hollandaise sauce was an incredible touch.
The facilities were clean.
Overall the attention to detail, the plating was outstanding.
This place is a must visit.

LOVE this place, especially the patterned flooring. A very unique coffee shop!! They would do SO WELL in WATERLOO, not sure why they have not expanded!! The coffee is amazing. The staff is nice and friendly. This location is tucked away off the main road and most people do not know it exists. They do however need new chairs or reupholster them.

His prodigious output was famously fueled by copious cups of strong, black coffee consumed throughout the night.While earning a university degree in French Literature, Diana Olsen, President and Founder of Balzac's, discovered a kindred spirit in Monsieur Balzac and his genuine passion for coffee. Upon graduating, she immersed herself in authentic French culture, spending a year and a half in France. Passing many enchanting afternoons in the Grand cafés of Paris, Ms. Olsen was inspired to bring this sophisticated celebration of coffee and social tradition back home to Canada.San Francisco was her next stop in 1993, to learn the craft of coffee roasting and bean selection at the West Coast Specialty Coffee Training Institute. In 1996, the first Balzac's café was opened in Stratford, Ontario.
