Welcome to the Rankin Culture & Recreation CentreThe 'Centré has been around for many years under various forms. In fact, the original was built in 1963. Unfortunately, the 'Rink' as it's known to most now, burned in a fire on March 15, 2005. This was a great loss for our entire community and surrounding area. When asked it they wanted to rebuild or simply cease operations, the community gathered and gave a unanimous thumb's up to rebuild. And that's whatwe've done! Everyone agrees that the new Rankin Culture & Recreation Centre is BIGGER AND BETTER!!If you are interested in supporting our new Centre with a donation, you can find more information on our volunteer & donate page. Bad Axe Throwing specializes in hosting birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties and team building events! Regardless of your skill level, the professionally trained coaches provide a brief orientation on how to throw the axe and how the point systems works. Your designated coach supervises and monitors the entire event while providing tips and tricks for sticking the axe! Our event will wrap up with a round robin tournament crowning the ultimate axe throwing champion!
Twin Elm Rugby Park located at 4075 Twin Elm Road, Nepean, ON, is the home of hard athletic endeavour, where rugby teams from across Eastern Ontario and Quebec battle for supremacy. With five rugby fields, 12 changing rooms, two lounges, a bar and spectator seating, Twin Elm is a unique sports facility. This great facility is home to several local clubs and the representative sides for Eastern Ontario.
