Established in 1958, Gay Lea Foods is a co-operative proudly owned by Ontario's dairy farmers. Over 1,200 farmers, approximately one quarter of Ontario's dairy farmers, help Gay Lea manufacture milk, dips, cream, butter, sour cream, whipped cream, cottage cheese and skim milk powder for people all over Canada to enjoy.
We carry over 400 different varieties of cheese. Availability may vary. We focus heavily on local and Canadian cheeses especially artisan, but a large part of our inventory is made up of cheeses from around the world. We offer international cheeses that are exclusive to Cheese Shoppe on Locke and we work closely with local wineries to offer wine and cheese parings.
We offer over 200 varieties of cheese, specializing in naturally aged cheddars up to 15 years. We're more than just great cheese though! Stop on by for jams, meats, ice, and a wide selection of giftware.
