At NAC, we treasure the dynamic of coming together for corporate worship, celebration, and training events. In these events, we celebrate the opportunity to demonstrate to the living God how much He matters to us.
Movement in our journey of engagement occurs most effectively in a culture of empowerment, where we are encouraged to be all that God has created us to be, and where we are equipped for all God has called us to achieve.
At Cedarview we offer practical, insightful teaching from the Bible, God's Word. People from all ages & walks of life are blessed weekly. We hope you will make this your church, too!
The story of Uxbridge Baptist Church continues to be one of vision and faith, of sacrifice and service, but above all, of men and women who have a true love for the Lord Jesus Christ and His work. The first members of our Church were connected with Claremont Baptist Church. As time passed, those followers in-and-around the town of Uxbridge felt prompted to begin a new work in their own rural community. With only 17 members in attendance, this small group of Baptists formed a Church in 1857.In 1860, the Church secured a location on Mechanic Street in Uxbridge on which they built a place of worship. However, by the turn of the century, the chapel had become too small and outdated for a membership of 139 attendees. In 1908, plans were drawn up to build a larger structure and on January 25, 1909, a new church on Brock St. was dedicated to the service of God. (It can still be seen across the street from Home Hardware).

Known as the 'Society of Friends' and commonly called Quakers, they set up residence on the rising ground just west of Uxbridge. The area became known as Quaker Hill. In the 1830's, Scottish and Irish immigrants moved into the area and, following their religious bent, established a Presbyterian congregation with the name St. Andrew's, Quaker Hill, an affiliate of the church of Scotland. Some years later, following the 'Disruption of 1843? in that church, a group from St. Andrew's organized a Presbyterian Church in Canada. A distinguishing feature of a congregation in the Presbyterian Church in Canada was the right to choose one's minister
