YCS is a nonprofit, registered charity. As a contracted agency, we commit our energy and resources to delivering a wide variety of mostly free programs and services to those residing in the North Thompson Valley from McLure to Blue River. YCS is also the contract service provider for WorkBC Employment Services with full service centres located in both Barriere and Clearwater. RiverBend Manor opened its doors in May, 2011 as part of a 165 unit seniors housing community composed of RiverBend Manor and RiverBend Suites. The Manor is owned by a not-for-profit society that has operated a smaller seniors home in Kamloops for 45 years. RiverBend Suites is privately owned and is part of the same building consisting of 1 and 2 bedroom rental apartments. The Manor offers a friendly, social and supportive environment designed to provide an affordable quality of life that is stimulating, enjoyable and responsive tour residents' needs. Interior Community Services is a not for profit agency providing close to 50 programs in 32 communities. We provide support and services to approximately 1,100 people a day providing programs from prenatal to seniors.
