God made each of us unique, with gifts and talents that He wants us to use for His glory. We also believe in preaching the truth of Gods word, and receiving direction from the Holy Spirit that enables creativity and innovation. We are far more concerned with effectiveness in ministry than adherence to tradition or efficiency. We believe that life is meant to be given away and that Christianity exists to share Christ with others.

The community employs a fulltime Public Works Employee, a fulltime Community Administrative Officer, a certified parttime Water Operator, a Community Constable, a parttime Recreation Director, and a Rink Operator. Volunteer Fire DepartmentWaterhen has its own volunteer Fire Department. Approximately 20 volunteer Fire Fighters are with the department, who do ongoing training twice monthly under the direction of Fire Chief John Mark Taylor.Waterhen currently owns 1 fire truck, and 1 rescue and water tanker truck.
