Founded in 1925, Na'amat Canada is a registered Canadian charity with branches in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec. The name 'Na'amat' is a Hebrew acronym for Nashim Ovdot Umitnadvot (Movement of Working Women and Volunteers.) Our volunteer members of all ages are instrumental in fundraising to support social service programmes in Israel and in Canada.

B'Nai Shalom North is a welcoming, inclusive, traditional conservative congregation, located in Thornhill, Ontario - just north of Toronto.It is under active development, and we would not normally let you see it in this state, but we wanted to have something ready in time for Rosh Hashanah, particularly so that we have a place where you can get on our email list, to receive announcements and keep you informed of our activities and progress. .It is on its way to being a fully-fledged site, with many useful pages, including links to helpful sites, a blog and event calendar, and on-line ticket ordering.
