West Haven Nursery is a wholesale tree farm located near Spruce View just 30 minutes west of Red Deer, Alberta. We supply over 80 types of wholesale trees and native shrubs to landscapers, builders, businesses, municipalities, acreage & property owners requiring multiple trees, and oil & gas companies. Our trees are locally grown to survive Alberta's extreme winters (Zone 2 & 3). We mainly supply deciduous trees in 40mm to 100mm trunk sizes and conifers in the 2 M to 3.5M heights. The West Haven greenhouse has capacity to propagate up to 60,000 tree and native shrub plugs/seedlings and we can supply potted native shrubs ready for naturescaping, xeriscaping and reclamation. We are proud members of LANTA and CNLA, since 2001 and all of our trees are grown and harvested to industry standards. Our Integrated Pest Management Program (IPM) focuses on mechanical weed and pest control followed by first-line organic control measures limiting the use of chemicals.

Buffalo Inspection Services offers the full range of common materials testing and examination non-destructive testing methods. Radiography, our mainstay method is still by far the most common NDT method used in the oil and gas sector, but other surface flaw methods and ultrasonics are growing rapidly due to advanced technologies making them much more reliable. We offer NDT services on almost anything that can be tested. From large tanks, pressure vessels, pipe welds, gap shots, material composition, hardness testing and surface flaws, we certainly have a NDT method and a certified technician to do the job.
