The Studio moved to its current location in 1997 to offer its clients expanded space and a newer facility. Since then the studio has enjoyed many years of dance and performances. It has made steady growth since its expansion, particularly in the area of adult programs and an increase in male dancers.

The Flying Dance Company (FDC) was founded in the fall of 2004. Its Director, Nicholas (Nico) Muthui Kaburia had a desire to share his love of dance as a way to celebrate life. So building a dance family that is based on a fun friendly service, cultural diverse teaching and is community focused was the logical step for Nico.
