John and his wife Alida manage 8 acres of land in the heart of Chilliwack, on Chilliwack Central Road. John and Alida moved from Milton, Ontario - where John worked at a wholesale Nursery - to Chilliwack, BC over 20 years ago. John began landscaping in Chilliwack for a local company before starting his own company in the same location it resides today. Since then the company has expanded dramatically from growing just cedars to a large variety of plants and trees in the nursery - in addition to the landscaping side of the business.

My StoryIn 1997, while organizing the BC Games for Athletes with a Disability, I had the misfortune of being rear-ended, at a high speed, while exiting the highway. This began an on again, off again 2 year rehabilitation program at Fraser Valley Orthopedics & Sports Therapy. And although rehab was beneficial, I ended up with a permanent low back injury to L3, L4, L5 and the Sacroiliac Joint and a not so healthy 180 pounds.
