The YOSHUKAI INTERNATIONAL KARATE SCHOOL offers a variety of programs for students aged from 5 years old, up to and including adults. The age range for each of our children's programs is only 2 or 3 years. Each class is designed to provide the best martial arts learning environment for that specific age group. This is unprecedented in the martial arts world. We offer classes for five basic age groups. To maximize our new & current students' learning experience we have four set start dates for all of our Programs. All of our programs are capped and are often full so preregistration is required. Our flexible schedule has classes being held up to four days a week with 18 or more classes per week at our 3100 square foot facility. Our 2100+ square foot sprung hardwood floor provides a large, clean and safe training surface. Our viewing area, is in the same room as and alongside of our main training floor, allowing parents to hear what is being taught to the students while class is on.

Our Club in Aldergrove was our first club that was started by Mr. Rahn. It began operation in April of 1998. We started with 4 students and we have grown consistently over the years. Our primary focus is to improve each student we have in our club. Through many trials and tests the club has endured and the students have thrived. Their dedication has never been greater than it is today.In every class there is an emphasis on Courtesy, Loyalty, Respect, Perseverance, Honour, Integrity, and Self-Control. Our main goal is Training people Mentally and Physically! Many programs train its participants physically, but in Songahm Taekwondo we recognize the importance of training people mentally. Our Life Skill Themes are used to develop each individual student. Some of the themes are Black Belt Attitude, Goal-Setting, and Confidence.
