Right on Dundas and Elizabeth, this little gem is sort of hidden downstairs. My Chinese friends refer to it as 'the basement' rather than its name. The bigger the group, the cheaper the meal. Dim Sum is good and very inexpensive ($2.20 - $3.70 per item). If you are going for lunch during the week, get there EARLY as it fills up very quickly. Once you have had lunch there, you will understand why. The Dim Sum is served from carts, so there are times when some of it may not be as hot as it should be, but I have never found that to be a problem since the food is very good. The decor is very basic with plastic table clothes, but the restaurant is quite clean, so that is not a problem. I go there regularly and recommend it.

This place has some nice food, lots of food served. The chicken, noodles, spring rolls were fantastic. The price of the food however comes at a high price and it's better to eat at a buffet for the price point for dinner.

I had been to the other mean bao location and was already familiar with their fantastic food and service. So I was overjoyed to see they opened a second location closer to where I live! The staff is lovely and the dim sum is all made in house, seriously the best dim sum I've had in the city. Not to mention it is extremely reasonably priced. I am in love.

Rich upscale restaurant connected to a rich upscale hotel, Luckee is on that level where people take your coat before they seat you. They accomidated a large party for lunch in a deceptively private room with quite a lot of baggage. Ordered the dim sum basket to start with the luckee duck bowl for main which were cooked perfectly, wrapped and presented amazingly. Word out on street is this is Brampton's Best Old Style Chinese Restaurant. I brought another hungary man with us so party of 4. June 9th/2011 at 18:40hrs we are here to rate the restaurant. Free tea was served and order:(1)Shrimp in Lobster Sauce $14.00/ (1) Cantonese Noodle with BBQ Pork $8.00/ 1/2 Roast Duck $9.00/ (1) Beef with Chinese Broccoli $9.50/ (1) Mushroom Fried Rice $7.50/ (3) Shrimp Won Ton Soups $10.50/ (1) Crab Meat Corn Soup $4.00/ (4) Steam Rice Bowls $6.00....FOOD: The lobster sauce was watery canadian style..roast duck was perfect...fries noodle was perfect..beef and broccoli was old school(beef was tender)..rice was good light soya sauce was used-good!...Soups was homemade and very Yummy...Brampton Best is Still#1...I am comming back.....

My boyfriend and I often go here because it's the only Dim Sum we know that uses carts in Mississauga. We particularly like it as they seem to have a much wider selection (e.g. crab claws, suckling pig) than normal restaurants which serve Dim sum.
In terms of quality, I don't think they are best. I have had much better quality of food at other restaurants. Also, even though the selection is vast... What happened to the shui mai? How do you have crab claws and not shui mai?!?! (Edit: Found out you need to order the shui mai... I did and it was not good at all)
I noticed the cart ladies seem to be a bit more strange than at other restaurants... Some will FLY past you, others will scream food names right at you. It is kind of fun for me and my boyfriend to laugh about. (I should note we are both Chinese and both have gone to various restaurants for Dim Sum, and we notice the cart ladies here are particularly strange)
What I found particularly interesting is how many non-Chinese people eat here. I think it's the only Dim sum place I have seen to have such a variety of people here.
I should note that this place gets amazingly busy around noon. My boyfriend and I tend to go around 10:30 or 11 and usually find a seat quickly. If you come at 12 (especially looking for a larger table) you are doomed! haha
So to sum it up:
-Amazing and sometimes unique selection... except that the shui mai has disappeared!
-Decent food quality but not the best. E.g. The shrimp in the ha gow tastes fishy, the dough fritter in the chun fun is soggy sometimes, the spare ribs in the black bean spare ribs w/rice are so boney ahhh!
-Strange cart ladies lol. Sometimes rude, sometimes friendly
-Get there before 12 if you don't like waiting! It's actually more normal to eat Dim sum earlier in the day anyway :).
Also, it seems one reviewer on here stated that the adults and kids are noisy. This is normal for a Chinese restaurant, especially as one as big as Emerald.
