Susan was born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada and currently resides in Victoria, B.C. Susan is a self taught artist and has taken great interest in painting over the past several years. With an abundance of support from friends and family, Susan has gone after developing her skills as an artist by constantly learning and also by keeping in touch with her community. Through her art you can see a passion she holds and she strives to produce vibrant works of art that people will enjoy.

Artemis Place for Girls is an integrated counselling and educational program which provides a unique alternative to traditional school for 15-19 year old girls in our community who are overlooked by existing programs. Girls are able to work on completing their high school while learning critical life skills in conflict resolution, and in building self-esteem and successful relationships. This program is for girls who are not pregnant or parenting.

Maria Montessori Academy was established in 1983 and is operated by the International Association of Progressive Montessorians (IAPM) a non-profit organization to foster the spread and development of Montessori education. Maria Montessori Academy offers children from preschool to grade 9, with plans to expand to grade 12, a Christian learning environment within a family like setting. The traditional Montessori environment helps children learn at their own pace through self-directed learning while fulfilling the BC educational curriculum.
