Dog n' Suds is owned and operated by Daria Holmboe, who started the company on Bowen Rd. Needing the room to grow and add Doggie Daycare she Purchased the location at 2209 Wilgress Rd. People often ask me why I decided to work with dogs. My answer quite simply is that I love them! I have always been entertained and fascinated by them so offering a place where dogs can enjoy themselves in a safe environment was the perfect way for me to spend my days with them. After our expansion from grooming and u-wash to doggy daycare and teeth cleaning, I'm proud that we are able to offer all the services that you need for your dog. Dog n' Suds is a proud supporter of the Nanaimo SPCA.

Larry claims to be the plumber and water change guy with some fix it stuff in the middle. On weekends you'll usually see Larry at the counter and be greeted very warmly. During the week Larry works for another family owned Campbell River business.Sarah has had fish almost her whole life. She started her first freshwater tank when she was 10 and it grew from there. She has bred many different types of cichlids and livebearers but has kept a vast array of fish. Growing up her room was filled with fish tanks rather than girlie stuff. After a short hiatus from the hobby, she and Larry decided to challenge themselves with a salt water tank. Many trials and tribulations later, they're hooked! With 7 reef tanks in the home who needs TV? Sarah, prior to the purchase of the Campbell River Pet Centre, was the manager of a local veterinary hospital for 21 years. She has also owned many rodents, reptiles, amphibians, birds, had a pond, and of course fish! They also have 2 beautiful kids!Come by to meet Larry and Sarah and their fantastic staff of Danielle and Andrea!
