I would highly recommend The Home Improvement People to anyone planning a home renovation. I recently had a major renovation done to my home. The renovation included new kitchen cabinets, counter top, back splash, pot lights, sink, taps, two sliding patio doors, a window, laundry room sink and cabinets as well as new tile flooring throughout a large portion of the main floor of my home. I was provided with a quote for the work three months before the work began. The quote was accurate. I was told that the work would not begin until the cabinets were built and the dates for all of the work personnel were organized. A few weeks before the renovation was to begin I was provided with a start date and time a day. The work began on time. The scheduling of the workers was most efficient. There were no delays. For three weeks various workers came to my house six days a week. Every job including demolition, plumbing, electrical, flooring, cabinets, drywall, base boards, window replacement, and installation of the two sliding patio doors was done by an expert. All of the workers were extremely polite and knowledgeable. They cleaned up upon completion of the work. The quality of the work was excellent. I am extremely pleased with my home renovation and would not hesitate to use The Home Improvement People again.
They are honest, hardworking, and legitimately enjoy the finished product and making me and my family happy.

Gallery Arcturus is a not-for-profit contemporary exhibition and art education centre located in downtown Toronto. It is funded and operated by The Foundation for the Study of Objective Art, a private charity. The gallery is an oasis of peace in the midst of a busy city. The space has been carefully designed to provide an opportunity for uninterrupted contemplation of visual art without the pressures of commercial galleries and without the admission charges typical of other public galleries. The gallery also provides an outstanding opportunity for contemporary visual artists to display their work without the pressures of commercial considerations. With two decades of museum experience, Smith - an accomplished curator, writer and educator - joins the AGO on Aug. 19, 2014.In her current role as the Deputy Director and Chief Curator of the University of Chicago's Smart Museum of Art, Smith has led the intellectual, artistic and educational programs of a dynamic museum based in one of the world's great research universities. Lauded for making contemporary art an anchor of the Smart Museum's programs and profile through major exhibitions, artists' commissions, and publications, Smith has also acquired significant works for the Museum's collection by artists including Adrian Piper, Kerry James Marshall, Michael Rakowitz and Zhang Huan during her tenure.
The Town of York Historical Society was born of the interest generated by the restoration, in the early 1980s, of an historically significant group of buildings in what is currently downtown Toronto. These included the Bank of Upper Canada (1827) and York's fourth post office (Toronto's first) constructed in 1833. Many experts – architects, historians and curators – volunteered assistance during the restoration project. From this core group, the Town of York Historical Society was formed in February of 1983. The first-floor location of the old post office was set aside for the establishment of a museum. The Society's first order of business was to accurately recreate its historical interior in order to reopen the post office in December of 1983 – its 150th anniversary. The Society now operates Toronto's First Post Office as a museum, a National Historic Site and an active working post office. This is an appropriate continuation of the site's original purpose.
