Dorian Rae established her gallery in Vancouver, BC, Canada in 1978. Previous to that she lived, traveled extensively, and collected tribal art and textiles in South East Asia. Each piece in her gallery is selected by her based on its authenticity and artistic value. The Dorian Rae Collection includes ancient artifacts, oriental antiques, and authentic tribal art from West Africa and South East Asia.

It offers rotating exhibitions of emerging, Canadian and International artists, and has a prime location in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It has approximately 1,800 square feet, the gallery is a beautiful and original place for an intimate event. Howe Street Gallery of Fine Art is offering Art Consulting available to clients considering purchases of various media such as sculptures from Zimbabwe, canvas based work, photographs and etchings. We pride ourselves in finding the visual expression which meets the client's individual requirements, be those corporative or personal. Our goal is to seek and examine works on the client's behalf, negotiating with artists and subsequently, providing them with meaningful independent advice.

Craft Council of British Columbia is a charitable arts service organization which supports all stages of artistic practice in the craft sector; creates opportunities for artists to exhibit, sell and produce art; provides a voice for artists and craft organizations and aids in the development of active communities around craft. The CCBC Shop & Gallery showcases the works of over 400 member artists from across BC, as well as exhibitions featuring innovative contemporary craft artists.
