Divine Elements Health Centre was brought to life through the passion and vision of Doctors Sonya and Nicholas Jensen. While I worked in the helping field since the mid-eighties, my work as a professional therapist began in 2000, after I graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) at UBC. The people I work with face one or more of the following concerns: anxiety; depression; couple or family issues; grief and loss; low self esteem; residential school; school or workplace concerns; stress and burnout; trauma (PTSD). I recognize the importance of providing a safe, nurturing and comfortable environment in which to explore concerns; respecting clients' treatment goals; assisting clients to gain and master skills to handle symptoms arising from the various challenges they face; and helping clients resolve the issues that continue to interfere with their ability to achieve their life goals and desires.

The West End Seniors' Network now operates from 3 different locations. In Denman Place Mall we run a thrift store, Clothes and Collectibles, and an Information and Referral centre, Kay's Place. WESN's main offices are located in Barclay Manor, a space dedicated by the City of Vancouver for seniors, where we work co-operatively with the West End Community Center to provide a variety of programs and activities.
