In his search for a renewable source of energy, he decided on an efficient woodstove. Seeing an opportunity, a new busiuness was born. With new technologies, wood heat suddenly became a booming industry and our little business was one of the pioneers.Today, The Foundry is one of North America's premier distributors of gas, wood, pellet, and electric hearth products. Endeman's Ironcraft was established by Harold John Endeman who had the goal to work with the client to build what the client wanted no matter how different or difficult the project was.Over 35 years later, Endeman's Ironcraft Ltd is run by Harold's son, Albert, and grandson, Wade with the same passion to design and build what the customer wants. We work with contractors, architects, designers, and homeowners to get the project done right, on time, and on budget. We serve many areas around us primarily Orangeville, New Market and Caledon but fairly regularly reach out to places like Collingwood, Toronto, Hamilton, and Guelph and on occasions have gone to Huntsville, Peterborough and Ottawa.
Since 1965 in Europe, 1990 in Canada, we specialize in custom iron products and design, projects like high-quality railings, gates, window, door and fireplace screens, metal sculptures... in short, our clients' iron ideas turned into reality. Some examples of our work include the following: a fireplace screen with forged iron roses, an 18-foot high drivegate with custom-forged acanthus leaves, a curved stair-railing with hammered branches, the life-size sculpture of a mare and colt, a 24-light fixture with brass acanthus leaves... a mechanical spider. Do you get it? There is no iron project, no matter how far-fetched, that we will not accept. This, our philosophy is what earned us our reputation among our clients: if you can't find it, Hois will make it. It is also the reason why people stay with us for years.
