UMSU the Commerce Students' Association (CSA)The Commerce Students' Association (CSA) is the entire student body enrolled in the I.H. Asper School of Business. This includes the 1600+ full- and part-time students in the Undergraduate Bachelor of Commerce program.The CSA Council is a student-run organization that serves the students (YOU!). The council acts as a link between the students, faculty, and members of the business community.The CSA Council is comprised of 7 executive members and 43 internal members, for a total of 50 active members. These students are dedicated to planning, organizing, and promoting approximately 60 events throughout the school year. These events allow for personal and professional development, as well as networking opportunities with the business community and with other students.Our 'Work Hard, Play Hard' motto is demonstrated through the involvement of all students in our faculty. Cheesecake began with only one recipe. Our Creamy Classic was an old family recipe Darlene doctored up and sold at a restaurant she owned in Portage La Prairie. It actually won first place for taste in the Strawberry Festival dessert contest. (Topped with strawberries, obviously).What sets Double D's Cheesecakes apart from most others is that they are not a baked cheesecake.
