Terravista Vineyards was started in 2008 by Bob and Senka Tennant. As a bit of history.Bob and Senka have been in the BC grape/wine industry for the past 16 years. Senka as winemaker and Bob as vineyard and business operator at their first business, Black Hills Estate Winery. In 2007, Black Hills was sold and Bob and Senka, not wanting to leave the industry, started looking for a small piece of property on which to establish a new vineyard and winery. Their idea was to concentrate on a couple of white grape varieties that had been attracting their interest.

The course features elevated tees, strategically bunkered greens and fairways, and water hazards on four holes. Multiple tee blocks on each hole ensure all players are challenged yet provides optimal playability. The course features pine, fir, and numerous deciduous trees and a variety of wildlife to complement the mountain scenery.In the clubhouse you will find the restaurant & lounge offering good food, friendly service, and a variety of local wines and micro brewed beers. The outdoor patio provides a relaxing place to take in the incredible view overlooking the 1st, 9th & 10th holes.Twin Lakes Golf Resort also features a RV Park, only a nine iron from the 1st tee. Nearby you'll find trout stocked lakes, hiking & biking trails, sandy beaches, nighttime entertainment, and over twenty local wineries all within a 30 minute drive.The course is situated in the South Okanagan 20 Km's southwest of Penticton, BC or 35 miles north of the Canada/US border at Osoyoos.

Sumac Ridge Golf & Country Club Ltd and restaurant has a golf challenge unrivaled in the area and the restaurant has a number of menu items unavailable elsewhere. The starting hole at Sumac Ridge Golf & Country Club Ltd is a Par 3 slightly downhill, guarded in front by a pond. Most who possess local knowledge, will attempt to "eliminate" the pond from the tee shot by trying to hit a slight draw, short right, and use the 10-15 ft elevated slope to help move the ball to the putting surface. The second hole has a slightly elevated green to play too. Anything long, left or right, leaves the player a difficult 'blind' pitch to a green now running away from you. Anything middle green is good here. Third hole is the 'signature' hole. Although only 150 yards, it is all carry, over a canyon. The green is generous in size however, being slightly above the tee the surface is not visible, so it makes the shot even more daunting. High, long Left is the only viable 'miss'.
