Dr. Smithson graduated with first class honours from Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business in Kingston, Ontario. He then attended Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry in London, Ontario, where he received his medical degree. Remaining at Western for his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Smithson was granted fellowship through certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
