The mission of Nairn Family Homes is to place children in foster homes that best support and promote their well-being. We strive to carefully match foster families and children in a way that ensures better outcomes for the children and youth placed. Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Center provides quality care and a nurturing environment for infant, toddler and preschool aged children. We are licensed, by the Ministry of Education, to provide care for up to 56 children. We use the document "How Does Learning Happen" and Ontario's Early Learning Framework to help guide our program and philosophies. Our small size helps maintain our family atmostphere, the ability to build relationships and get to know our families. We strive to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment where families and our children feel at home. We use play and exploration to build on children's unique strengths. Our goal is for each child to be an active and engaged participant while exploring indoors and the natural environment.
