Springfield Golf & Country Club is a magnificent semi-private 18-hole golf club located in the south end of Guelph. The Springfield restaurant open April through December offers a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the spanning green hills and trees of the course, not to mention our diverse and exciting menu! Shelburne Golf and Country Club is a picturesque 18-hole golf course located on the western edge of the Niagara Escarpment. The professionally-designed course plays over easily walked terrain with silica sand bunkers and six spring -fed ponds providing a challenge to all levels of golfers. In the last few years 9 new tee decks, adding 230 yards to the course, were brought into play adding to the challenge for the lower handicap, long-hitting player. Playing enhancements were completed on four holes in 2007, to speed up play and provide greater visual definition to the bunkers, water hazards and fairways, along with the addition of 400 trees. Also, the automatic irrigation system was expanded to improve the overall condition and playability of the course.
