Each combination has a par 72 with slope ratings of 125 to 136. Moonlake presently holds the highest slop rating in Saskatchewan. This course was built in 1989, opening its first nine in June of 1990. Moonlake is links, dunes style golf course, reminiscent of the old Scottish design. The course follows the traditional Scottish links design with water hazards, heavily mounded fairways and long native grass roughs. The Semko family owned this rolling wheat field, and the terrain was so suited for a golf course that they could envision each hole. They began planting trees and irrigating, and in 1979, Greenbryre Golf & Country Club was born. It quickly gained exposure by hosting a celebrity golf challenge in 1980 that brought Gordie Howe, Jan Stephenson and Wayne Gretzky to Saskatoon.
