North Van's New Culture Plan - A Work in ProgressThe development of a new Cultural Plan for North Vancouver is well underway. Over the past six months, the Arts Office in conjunction with cultural planning consultants has been involved in series of dynamic community consultations, the input from which is being incorporated into a new Cultural Plan that will guide the ongoing development of arts and culture in the City and District of North Vancouver.

Slovenian Society is a non-profit organization, established in 1958. Slovenian Hall serves as the primary venue for Slovenian cultural and social events in Burnaby. In between events, Slovenian Hall is available for rent. The Hall offers easy access from Highway #1 and from Canada Way. With a capacity of 220 people, Slovenian Hall features a kitchen, bar, stage, hardwood floor, large covered outdoor area and a fenced 60-vehicle parking lot. The hall has the flexibility to be set up for any kind of event and provides an excellent venue for events such as weddings, banquets, parties, socials, meetings, receptions and presentation. Our well-equipped kitchen can be used by your chef or by a caterer. Tables and chairs are available to seat up to 220 people in air conditioned comfort.
