Long Canada day weekend and stranded on the side of highway 17 over 300k from home in 3:00 traffic. We called CAA and thankfully got rescued by an amazing tow truck driver. She was friendly and professional. She used the utmost care in loading and unloading my brothers mustang. Sudbury Truck & Trailer Centre Inc. began operation as a spring shop in 1955 in a 2,400 square foot Quonset hut at our current location. The company has expanded its operations from welding and spring repair to include dump body installations, hydraulic repair, fabrication, driveline manufacture and machining.
We underwent a significant expansion in 1980 by installing a Guy-Chart frame straightener, paint booth and alignment equipment to better serve the northern Ontario collision marketplace. Later we added a Traction parts distribution franchise, Hino Diesel Truck franchise, HIAB crane service and CWB welding certification to now become a complete truck and trailer service operation.
