Crown Heights Co-operative Homes Inc. (the Co-op) is a 118 unit townhouse complex. The Co-op is a mixed community of seniors, families and single person. When a person moves in a unit in the Co-op they become a member of the Co-op. All members of the Co-op have a right to vote and take part in governing their community. The members meet at least two times per year. Members elect a Board of Directors who work to govern the Co-op according to the needs of their members. The members also meet to approve budgets and receive the audited financial statements.
Graduate House provides lots of opportunities to try new things and meet new people. Our student residence council hosts social events and residents can participate in an extensive intramural sports program. Our Residence Life Staff coordinates regular activities, groups and workshops and hosts a wide range of events including weekly movies and coffee nights, courtyard brunches, and parties.
