We hired WCL to design and build an addition to our island cottage on Lake Muskoka, as well as build our docks and a new boathouse. We chose them based on a referral from the neighboring cottagers who were using them for their docks and boathouse. When Randy Wicks, President, asked us to provide a reference/review on our experience, we were very happy to do so since we felt it was a good way to show our appreciation and thanks for their efforts. They were efficient and very reasonable with their pricing especially given we are on an island. They were easy to work with and were always available to discuss things with when we needed.

Tough Oaks Landscaping is great to work with. Firstly they are good with communication- they get back to you quickly. They have creative ideas and helpful tips. They do hardscaping and planting. They did really nice work in a timely manner, working hard to get the materials and plants in a cost effective way. Ralph and Cynthia are wonderful people and their prices are reasonable.

Les Bertram and Sons (1985) Ltd. (LBS), has been family owned and operated since 1939 and was originally founded by Leslie Howard Bertram. As a result of Leslie's hard work and honesty, he was able to lay the strong foundation of the company, which LBS still prides itself on today. In 1985, the company was purchased by Bill Bertram (one of Leslie's four sons) and adopted the legal name of Les Bertram and Sons (1985) Ltd. After working for the company for many years, Gary and Geoff Bertram purchased the company from their father in 2009.
