We needed to get our basement reinsulated in our 4 yr old home after removing moldy old fiberglass batts. Penta gave us options to dot he work with both 1/2 lb and 2 lb foam and after doing our own research we decided to go with the Icynene 1/2 lb foam. All the other contractors trashed the 1/2 lb foam but couldn't provide any valid evidence to back up their claims that only 2 lb foam would work. Penta provided us references from happy customers and we decided to go with them. We saved over $1200 compared to the other contractors proposing only 2 lb.
The negative selling they did only made them look unprofessional. Penta did the job quickly and efficiently and the basement was cleaner when they left than it was when they started!!
