Please join us for 'An Evening With Cathy Marie Buchanan'. Cathy Marie Buchanan will discuss the story behind her novel The Painted Girls and will participate in an onstage interview hosted by Susanna Kearsley on Monday, October 6, at 7p.m at the Central Library.The Painted Girls is one of ten books nominated for the Ontario Library Association's Evergreen™ Award Program. The program was introduced to give adult library patrons the opportunity to vote for a work of Canadian fiction or non-fiction that they have liked the most from the nominated titles.Susanna Kearsley, host of the evening, is an accomplished and award winning Canadian author.Books will be available for purchase and author signing, courtesy of Blue Heron Books.Registration is required. Register in person, online, or by calling any location of the Whitby Public Library.
