After designing and building an electrolytic silver recovery market place and ventured out on his own in 1969.Ralph started the business by picking up different photo chemicals from printers and photo labs in his Mustang convertible and desilvering these solutions on-site at his warehouse. Over the next 10 years, Ralph continued to expand the business by recycling and processing expired x-ray film and litho film. He also established a complete custom line of silver recovery equipment.Continued Growth - 1995In the mid 90's, ECS continued its upward growth. It is under the leadership of a Grand Master. He presides over all Masons who belong to one or more of the lodges in our jurisdiction. Each of these lodges is under the direction of a Master.Any man who becomes a Mason is taught a pattern for living - reverence, morality, kindness, honesty, dependability and compassion. He must be prepared to honour his country, uphold its laws and respect those in authority. He must be prepared to maintain honourable relations with others and be willing to share in Masonic activities.

RED RIVER HERITAGE FAIR Congratulations to the Grade 6 students who represented our school so well at the Red River Heritage Fair at the University of Winnipeg on May 1st. The students had a wonderful time observing the hundreds of amazing projects by grade 4 to 11 students from across Manitob,a participating in several hands-on workshops, interacting with the judges and answering their questions, and meeting students from across the province.Each year the grade 6 students participate in various fun and educational workshops. This year's workshops included: soap stone carving; making aboriginal leather necklaces called spirit pouches; an amazing scavenger hunt; and an interesting talk on The Untold Stories of Winnipeg. As well there was aboriginal drumming during the lunch hour and an Open House and Awards Ceremony in the evening. It was an action-packed day, one that will remain fondly in our memories! All of our students received medals for their wonderful projects.In addition, some of our students were fortunate to receive SPECIALTY AWARDS, as follows: CANADA'S HISTORY AWARD (Awarded to the Top 3 Projects in the entire fair!)
