This campsite is everything I have ever looked for. The hosts are friendly, and always making sure you have everything you need. We have a nice cottage, clean and very comfortable. The grounds are well maintained and i really enjoy the privacy. Wake up every morning facing the beautiful lake. I recommend this place for great camping and fishing.

Chaudière Lodge is located on an island in Ontario's legendary Upper French River, and it is open from the third Saturday in May to the third Saturday in October. Just 4 1/2 hours north of Toronto, this five star resort is truly one of the closest near north experiences available to the GTA. The Upper French River and Lake Nipissing offer Chaudière's guests two very different experiences. The French is sheltered providing countless bays, narrows, islands and inlets perfect for canoeing, photography and fishing. Nipissing and the mouth of the French offer an extremely large body of water where the fishing is excellent. It is always possible to get out on the water from Chaudière.
