Our branch takes in the following eight municipalities: City of Pickering, Town of Whitby, City of Oshawa, Muncipality of Clarington, Town of Scugog, Town of Uxbridge, Town of Brock.Our branch goal is to encourage, bring together and assist those interested in the pursuit of genealogy and family history in the Durham Region. Our members focus on preserving information that will be useful for anyone doing research on ancestors from the Durham Region. We also provide a sound base for researchers living here who have ancestors in other areas around the world.
