The Sudbury Action Centre for Youth has served the most vulnerable members of our community in the City of Greater Sudbury since 1986. We offer a casual Labour Employment Program, a Harm Reduction Program and a Youth Drop In Centre.

More than 70 years ago, President Franklin D. Roosevelt said, "If I were a worker in a factory, the first thing I would do would be to join a union. I think this holds true today. Studies show that if a certification vote was held in every work place across North America, and neither the union or the company could have any influence, 30% of the workers would vote for representation. We as union have laid some solid ground work and it is the employer that has the up hill battle to defeat the workers.
Rainbow District School Board's multi-year Accessibility Plan was developed in accordance with the Integration Accessibility Standards Regulation under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.It incorporates the intentions of the Board to meet its obligations under the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001.The Plan describes the measures that the Rainbow District School Board will take over the five year period from 2012-2017 to identify, remove and prevent barriers to people with disabilities who work, learn and participate in the School Board community and environment including students, staff, parents and guardians, volunteers and visitors to the Board and its schools.
Three Bears Day CareChild-First CurriculumOur programming promotes a balance of activities throughout the day that will meet the needs of all children. The facility is bright and well equipped with a variety of play materials suited to the needs of the children. Our meals and snacks, are planned in accordance with the Canada Food Guide, and the menus are posted in house. A nutritious full course meal is served at lunch, as well as a morning and afternoon snack. Children from the Hornepayne Public School, who are allowed, can take the school bus to and from daycare/school.We are open 12 months of the year. We are closed on all statutory holidays. Credit Counselling Sudbury, a division of Sudbury Community Service Centre Inc. is a non-profit, registered charitable organization. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that reflects the community we serve. We have been providing practical assistance and guidance to people with debt and money management problems in the Greater Sudbury area since 1972. Our services are available in both official languages for families and individuals from any age group, culture, or income level. Our clients come from all lifestyles.
For the past sixteen years, the Contact intercultural francophone Sudbury (CIFS) provides reception and integration services to facilitate the establishment of new French-speaking region of Greater Sudbury arrivals.
