Statistics show that accidental injury is the leading cause of death and disability among school aged children. The Chatham-Kent Children's Safety Village can dramatically reduce injuries by teaching individual responsibility and awareness. Through hands-on training at the Village, children develop a positive attitude toward safety that will be remembered into adulthood.The facility is 7500 square feet with a 5 acre miniature village and is located in the C.M. Wilson Conservation Area.
