Great outfit but unfortunately seems to be losing a lot of ground to competing Value Village. On the one hand, their selection is typically much less impressive, and the overall quality of items is generally lower. BUT their pricing makes sense. There's no way I'm paying 4.99 for a used book in relatively poor condition at VV when I could get it for 25-cents at the Army. For a reseller looking for stock that's the difference between a flop and a flip. I donate stuff to both, and shop both.

The facility is bright and well equipped with a variety of play materials suited to the needs of the children. Our meals and snacks, are planned in accordance with the Canada Food Guide, and the menus are posted in house. With more than 3,000 donation bins and an active home pick-up service in communities across Canada, we collect unwanted gently used clothing and household items to raise much-needed funds for Diabetes Canada. This helps support programs and research on behalf of the 11 million Canadians living with diabetes and pre-diabetes.
But, we’re more than just clothing donation collectors. We are an organization of dedicated professionals working with Canadians from coast to coast fighting to End Diabetes through waste diversion. Each year, the program diverts more than 100 million lbs. of clothing and household items from landfill sites across Canada.
